This blog will focus on my journey to complete 101 things in 1001 days. My first list ended in 2013 and while I didn't complete every item, I managed to accomplish some things, develop a few good habits, and learn a few things about myself. A little time has passed, and I'm ready to jump into this one more time. Once again I've tried to come up with a list that will challenge me as well as help bring a little fun into my life! Start date: April 5, 2015... here we go!

Yes, it's another post about Facebook...
Ugh. Who knew that staying off Facebook would be so difficult?!? I had to log back on today to get the reply to the message I sent the other day, and it has been so hard not to look at any other parts of Facebook. It has really made me realize how much of a habit it has become. This is even harder than taking my daily vitamin! (And, hey! While we're on that topic, it's been a whole month now! I'm at the halfway point! Yea me!!) I have a Favorites quick link to Facebook at the top of my internet page, and for the past three days it has been sitting there mocking me, so I just deleted it. Hopefully that will help some. Out of sight, out of mind. For now, I am going to read a magazine...

Once again, great job on the vitamins. I keep forgetting that you aren't on facebook right now. Part of my routine is to look at your page and Andy's just to make sure that I haven't missed anything. Today I was thinking about you and I was trying to calculate how much time I spend on facebook. Since I deleted all my game accounts about 6 months ago and I only recently started one game (Cityville), I don't spend much time there. Probably an hour or less a day but not more than that. Some days it might only be 15 minutes. Occasionally I don't go there at all but that is only a few days a month.
ReplyDeleteBut I admit that I have another game that occupies my time now. I mentioned the slot machine thing that I was playing. I don't feel like it takes up too much of my time. Well, what i mean is that I consider it time well spent. It relaxes me. I don't play it everyday but I do spend an hour or two there when I do play.
I do still play Castle Age and Sorority Life. I could probably stop, but I'm at such high levels with both that I'm really able to enjoy all the fights and quests without being part of a huge army. Then I have the quick little games like Bejeweled Blitz and now Zuma Blitz... those are the ones I truly can end up wasting hours playing! And then there's just the constant checking to see who has posted what updates.
